Amour et argent, ça peut faire bon ménage?
This webinar is presented in French only
Knowing your clients well to offer financial products and services adapted to their reality is the basis of CSF members’ ethical obligations. The webinar "Amour et argent, ça peut faire bon ménage?" aims to equip financial services advisors who deal on a daily basis with clients whose marital status may influence the management of their finances.
Based on the results of a survey on the financial habits of Quebecers in a relationship conducted by the CSF in the spring of 2022, INRS researcher, professor, and sociologist Hélène Belleau, PhD, identifies major trends and discusses potential friction points that advisors should take into account.
Me Geneviève Beauvais, Head of Quality and Compliance at the CSF, bridges the gap between these sociological data and the ethical obligations of counsellors, using case studies to facilitate the application of best practices. The webinar will conclude with a question-and-answer session open to all participants.
