Is your advisor a member?
The 34,000 CSF members are trained, certified and monitored professionals, who must be authorized to practise in Quebec. That’s why you should consult the Register of firms and individuals authorized to practise before working with an advisor.
This register, which is maintained by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF), contains the contact information of professionals who are CSF members authorized to work in the financial products and services sector. Consulting the register only takes a few minutes, and you’ll find out if your advisor is in good standing.
You can access the register here.
If your search gives no results, we encourage you to contact the CSF information centre.
