A director elected in the mutual funds discipline

  • Ms. Daniela Altgauzen elected to the board after the second round of voting
     

Montreal, June 19, 2024 – The Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF) is pleased to announce the election of Ms. Daniela Altgauzen as a director representing the mutual funds discipline. Members of this discipline were called to participate in a second round of voting after two candidates tied in the first round.


“I warmly congratulate Daniela Altgauzen on her re-election as a director. The Board of Directors of the CSF is delighted to count on her expertise and experience in both financial services advisory and governance,” said Mr. Sylvain De Champlain, who was recently appointed Chairman of the Board. “I also thank Mr. Charles Drolet for running in this election. The Board's work during this term will include overseeing the 2024-2026 strategic plan, which will further emphasize the CSF's unifying approach and its significant contribution to strengthening public confidence in financial services.”


The CSF is governed by a Board of Directors composed of thirteen directors. Eight of these directors are elected from among the members of the CSF, and five are independent directors appointed by Quebec’s Minister of Finance.
