Appointment of Julie Dagenais as Syndic of the CSF

Montréal, March 4, 2025 - The Chambre de la sécurité financière (the “CSF”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Me Julie Dagenais to the position of Syndic, effective immediately.

Until recently, Ms. Dagenais assumed the duties and responsibilities of Interim Syndic. During her 18 years with the CSF, she has held a variety of positions, including Disciplinary Counsel and Senior Assistant Syndic. A lawyer by training, Ms. Dagenais will draw on her vast experience of the financial sector and its supervision, as well as her in-depth expertise, acquired both within the industry and throughout her career in the CSF's Syndic's Office. Her background bears witness to an unwavering commitment to the professional integrity of advisors, the protection of consumers of financial products and services, and the maintenance of the highest professional standards.
