Montréal, August 19, 2024 - The Chambre de la sécurité financière (CSF) launches a call for candidates for its Professional Training and Development Committee and its Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance of Practices Committee. These two advisory committees have been set up to support the CSF in its orientations and its mission to protect the public.

The term of office for committee members is two years and is renewable. The committees are made up of a maximum of nine people who are industry professionals, experts in the fields of training, compliance, ethics and regulation, or members of the CSF who possess the required expertise.

The positions to be filled are for these two committees:

• Professional Training and Development Committee 
  It is an advisory committee that focuses on the training and professional development trends and needs of CSF members, and advises on the training offered to CSF members.
•  
• Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance of Practices Committee 
  It is an advisory committee whose main role is to keep abreast of regulatory trends in the distribution of financial products and services, as well as aspects relating to professional ethics and compliance.
